Full description

Your adventure starts with a convenient hotel pick-up in downtown San Francisco, followed by a scenic drive across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. As you journey, your knowledgeable guide sets the stage for a day filled with remarkable experiences.

En route to Napa and Sonoma Counties, we make a captivating stop in Marin County at the Muir Woods National Monument. Here, you'll have the opportunity to stroll along the trails, surrounded by the awe-inspiring ancient forest of Coast Redwoods. After communing with nature on the Redwood Creek trail, we continue our journey to the wine country.

The wine country tour commences at a quintessential Napa winery, where you'll be greeted by a wine educator. Prepare to savor a flight of hand-picked wines curated by the winemaker. These exclusive wines can only be found at the winery, making them a perfect choice to complement your evening meal.

With smiles on our faces and appetites awakened, we make our way to the historic Sonoma Plaza, a charming area filled with boutique shops and restaurants catering to all tastes. Take your time to enjoy a sit-down meal at one of the local eateries or opt for a quick grab-and-go option, perfect for an impromptu picnic on the lush lawns surrounding the 150-year-old Sonoma City Hall.

Following a delicious lunch, we delve deeper into the relaxed ambiance of Sonoma Valley, visiting two boutique, family-owned wineries. Learn about the winemaking process and how these talented individuals utilize the unique soils and micro-climates of their vineyards to craft exquisite estate wines. If you find a wine you adore, consult with your host to inquire about shipping options to your home.

As we make our way back to San Francisco, we travel along the historic El Camino Real, allowing you to reflect on the incredible day you've just experienced. To conclude the tour on a perfect note, we make a photo stop (weather permitting) at the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge. Capture stunning views of the city skyline and perhaps catch a glimpse of Alcatraz Island, all while basking in the beauty of San Francisco.
