Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Anyone over 18 with a valid drivers license. If you were born after January 1st, 1988, you will need to have a Florida Boater Certification to drive. You can easily get a temporary certificate at https://www.boat-ed.com/floridarental. 
    • Must be 5yo or older to ride.
  • Weight: 250 lbs. per-passenger

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide; also, other guests may be joining up to 10 people .
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
  • Specific rules to follow: No alcohol, BUT there is a bar at Cypress Cove after your tour.
  • Gratuity: Please note that gratuity is not included, but customary. Cash or digital tipping is appreciated.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency:  If the tour is canceled due to unsafe weather, you will reschedule or receive credit to Giftory. Please know that cloudy is not considered unsafe. You can also reschedule your tour up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 30 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You'll find parking at Cypress Cove Marina & Resort.
  • What to wear:  Beach attire is recommended. You will get wet. Remember that it is typically 10 degrees cooler on the water. There is shade but your legs will need good sunscreen or covering.
  • What to bring:
    • Pack light! There is a watertight compartment for wallet, keys, sunscreen etc.
    • A cooler is provided with bottled water and ice. Most people that bring snacks have so much fun they forget to eat them.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are two very nice restrooms to change in.

 

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
