Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ is the Western Hemisphere's largest indoor theme park, with dozens of rides including some of the tallest, steepest, and wildest rides in the world. Thrill seekers can take on the longest spinning coaster and the tallest indoor spinning drop, with every ride themed to beloved Nickelodeon shows.

There are plenty of rides and experiences for younger fans too, like The PAW Patrol Hero Academy, and everyone can meet favorite Nickelodeon characters from SpongeBob and Patrick to Chase, Skye, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's a crowd-pleasing gift for families, cartoon lovers, and anyone who has ever wanted to live inside their favorite show.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: All ages are welcome. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older from 4PM until close.
• Height: Each ride has its own age and height requirements, posted at the entry to the queue line.
• Health limitations: Each ride has its own restrictions and advisories, posted at the entry to the queue line. Medical devices such as inhalers and EpiPens are permitted, but they cannot be brought onto rides or interfere with ride restraints.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Children 2 and under receive free admission. All other guests need a valid ticket to ride.
• Individuals with disabilities:
  • American Dream is ADA accessible, with wheelchair-friendly routes, elevators, ramps, and accessible restrooms throughout the complex
  • Wheelchair ($10) and ECV ($40) rentals are available at Guest Services A, Guest Services C, and the Nickelodeon Universe ticket counter
  • Several attractions at American Dream are designated Certified Autism Centers by IBCCES, with staff specially trained to assist guests with sensory sensitivities
  • Individual rides and attractions may have their own safety or transfer requirements
  • Guests with disabilities qualify for the Rider Assistance Program; details are available at Guest Services at the Nickelodeon Universe ticket counter outside the park
• Pets: Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted. Trained service animals are welcome but must remain leashed or harnessed and under the handler's control at all times, and some rides or attractions may have safety restrictions.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Who will be present: Other guests will be enjoying the rides at the same time. Children under 14 must stay with their supervising companion.
• Photo/video: Photos and video are welcome for personal use; photos are not permitted while on rides, and ride operators cannot take pictures or hold cameras for guests.
• Specific rules to follow:
  • The All Access wristband must be worn on the rider's wrist to access rides and attractions
  • Shirts and shoes are required, clothing graphics and language must be appropriate, and bathing suits are not permitted
  • No loose articles are allowed on rides; leave them with a non-rider or in a locker
  • No outside food, drinks, alcohol, or coolers; food and drinks bought elsewhere in American Dream are allowed
  • Bags are subject to search, and glass bottles, selfie sticks, face-covering masks, and weapons or toy weapons are not permitted
  • Line jumping (cutting, saving spots, or leaving and re-entering a line) is not permitted and can result in removal from the park
  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted
  • Re-entry is allowed during operating hours

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
• Arrival: Pick up the All Access wristband at the Nickelodeon Universe ticket counter outside the park entrance. Hours vary by day, so review the ticket confirmation to plan the visit.
• Parking:
  • American Dream has more than 12,000 parking spaces
  • The first 15 minutes are free, then parking is $6 per vehicle for the duration of the visit
  • Event rates apply to vehicles parked during select MetLife Stadium events
• What to wear: Comfortable clothes and closed shoes suited to rides
• Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms:
  • Restrooms, family restrooms, and baby changing stations are available on site
  • All day lockers are available for a fee inside the park

• Character meet and greets happen daily at The Slime Stage; appearances are subject to change.
• Quick Pass line skipping is available for purchase separately.
• Light refreshments, snacks, and drinks are available for purchase inside the park.
• Some rides may be closed for maintenance on the day of the visit.
• American Dream owned attractions are cashless. Cash-to-Card kiosks are available at Guest Services in A Court, Level 1, and next to the Nickelodeon Universe retail store.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for any other experience in our marketplace, free of charge, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, including unused tickets after the intended day of visit. You can reschedule up until 11:59pm EST on your original booking date, subject to availability. Rescheduling costs a minimum of $5 per ticket, plus any difference in ticket price for the new date. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. Requests made after 11:59pm EST on the original date are at American Dream's discretion and subject to an extra fee, and no-shows mean losing the value of your experience.
