Tour Itinerary:

9:00 AM - Pick up from San Diego: Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your designated location in San Diego.
11:00 AM - Arrival at El Salto Campground: Kickstart your day with an exhilarating hiking adventure at El Salto, where you can enjoy rock climbing, rappelling, and, during the rainy season, marvel at a breathtaking 100+ foot waterfall. Feel free to bring your dog along for the fun!
1:00 PM - Visit to the Kumiai Reservation: Explore the rich heritage of Baja California’s native peoples at the Kumiai Reservation in Guadalupe Valley. This responsible tourism experience is perfect for the whole family, with opportunities to tour the museum and soap factory.
3:00 PM - Lunch at Finca Altozano: Indulge in a five-course BajaMed feast at this incredible outdoor restaurant in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe. Enjoy dishes crafted from natural and organic ingredients by the renowned chef Javier Plascencia.
4:30 PM - Wine Tasting in Valle de Guadalupe: Unwind with a relaxing wine tasting at one of the many artisan wineries in Valle de Guadalupe, savoring the flavors of the region's finest wines.
5:30 PM - Depart Valle de Guadalupe: After a day full of adventure and delicious food, relax on the journey back to San Diego.
8:00 PM - Drop off in San Diego: Arrive back at your designated location in San Diego, bringing your unforgettable day to a close.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 11 Hours. The tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the experience.
What’s included: The experience is all-inclusive, covering transportation, hiking, cultural tour, a five-course lunch, and wine tasting. Complimentary bottles of drinking water will be provided for each passenger.
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times. This is a private tour with a minimum of six participants required.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
Specific rules to follow: Valid passport is required. Each passenger is required to sign a waiver of release of liability before boarding the transport.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: The experience will run rain or shine.
Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled pick-up time of 9 AM.
Parking: Transportation is included.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended.
What to bring:
- You may bring your own drinks, but no large ice coolers, please.
- Valid passport is essential.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms, but there will be bathroom breaks during the tour.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

Each passenger is responsible for bringing the necessary immigration and travel documentation to enter Mexico and return to the United States.
An itinerary of the tour will be provided four days prior to the day of the tour, detailing the places to be visited and the meeting location for the driver.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
