After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to drive the speedboat.
  • Weight: There is a combined total maximum weight capacity of 425 pounds for each boat, for the driver and all passengers, the combined weight cannot exceed 425 pounds.
  • Health limitations: We will be riding in open water. Although usually calm, the harbor can be choppy at times. We do not recommend guests with neck or back problems or a recent surgery participate. Pregnant women should not participate.
  • Experience level: No experience needed. This speed boat adventure begins with a routine safety orientation on the basics of boating and the rules of the water.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: It is recommended that children riding with adults and be 5 years or older. Children under five are welcome on a case-by-case basis, as long as the conditions of the water are fair, and the child can hold on, physically. If the conditions are rough, it is not safe for a child under five.
  • Individuals with disabilities: Not wheelchair accessible. 
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: The tour lasts two hours from start to finish including orientation. You are on the water for 1.5 hours.
  • What’s included:
    • Your own F13 mini speed boat
    • USCG approved life jacket
    • Instructions on boating basics, rules of the road, and tour hand signals
    • A professionally trained guide leading and narrating the tour
  • Who will be present: You drive your own boat and follow your guide who is in another speedboat. You have the ability to communicate via radio communication system.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
  • Specific rules to follow: Please follow your guides instructions.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The tour may have to be canceled or rescheduled based on heavy rains or bad weather. Please contact your tour provider with any questions about weather conditions.
  • Arrival: Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time for instructions.
  • Parking: There is paid parking at the harbor.
  • What to wear: The great thing about our tours is that you really don’t get wet so you can wear anything you like.  Our guests wear anything from bathing suits to business suits depending on the weather.  If it’s chilly outside we have blankets, gloves, and jackets for you.
  • What to bring: Sun block, sunglasses, a towel, and a valid ID
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms are available at the dock.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
