In Napa, visit a Carneros winery to enjoy a guided tasting of hand-picked wines paired with stunning vineyard views. Savor each sip and perhaps take home a bottle of their exclusive wines. Next, the tour stops at Sonoma Plaza, where you’ll enjoy a 3-course wine-pairing lunch at the Plaza Bistro. Afterward, stroll the historic square and admire the charming Sonoma City Hall.

Continue exploring Sonoma Valley at two boutique, family-owned wineries, learning about the winemaking process and the unique terroir behind their exceptional wines. You may even arrange to ship your favorites home. The day concludes with a scenic return to San Francisco via El Camino Real, capped off with a photo stop at the Golden Gate Bridge (weather permitting). Snap stunning views of the skyline and Alcatraz to wrap up your wine country adventure.

• Languages: The guide speaks English, but audio guides are available in 8 different languages.

  • The tour price does not include the Muir Woods entrance fee, which is $15 per person and must be paid when you reach the entrance of the park (cash or card accepted).
  • Weather permitting, you will make a photo stop at the Golden Gate Bridge
• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (up to 15 people).
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to be at your pickup location a few minutes in advance.
• Parking: Parking available at pick-up locations
• What to wear: It’s best to dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes or sandals.
• What to bring: Bring a valid government-issued ID showing that you are at least 21 years old if you would like to consume alcohol, a light water-resistant jacket, camera or phone, water bottle, hat and sunscreen, umbrella (if the forecast calls for rain), and cash or a credit card for lunch and the park entry fee at Muir Woods.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms will be available at the wineries.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Complimentary pick-up from hotels located in San Francisco is offered. If you are staying away from the downtown area, we suggest taking a shared ride service or public transportation to the Hilton Union Square hotel on O’Farrell Street. The pickup location is outside the Mason Street side entrance.
• You may drink alcohol on the bus, however, the wine at wineries is generous and it is advised to be cautious to prevent excessive drinking.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
