Inside a private float tank filled with warm, mineral-rich water, the body becomes weightless, allowing muscles to fully release and the mind to slow down without distractions. When do I choose a date?

After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Any restrictions to participate?
  • Age: Guests must be at least 18 years of age to enter the wellness spa.
  • Health limitations: Floating is generally safe for most people, including pregnant guests. Floating is welcomed during the first, second, or third trimester; consultation with a physician is still highly recommended. Guests with open wounds or skin conditions should consult a doctor before booking.
Who can you accommodate for? 
  • Children: This is not an experience for children.
  • Individuals with disabilities: An ADA-accessible floatation therapy room (Float Pod Room) with an ADA shower is available. Please note the float tank itself is not ADA compliant, so guests with mobility challenges must bring a certified aide for assistance in and out of the tank. An ADA-accessible bathroom is available at reception.
  • Pets: Pets are not permitted. Certified and licensed service animals are welcome — please notify staff in advance.
What to expect on the day of the experience?
  • Duration: Sessions are 60 minutes of float time, plus a pre- and post-shower (approximately 5–10 minutes each).
  • What's included:
    • Guests are greeted by a concierge, given complimentary slippers, and escorted to the reception area before their session.
    • First-time guests receive a full room walkthrough.
    • Shampoo and body wash are provided for pre- and post-float showers, plus complimentary conditioner for the post-float rinse.
    • Following the session, guests are invited to relax with a cup of complimentary organic herbal tea in the marina-view lounge.
  • Who will be present: Each float takes place in a private room. Staff will be available before and after the session but guests float entirely alone in a private pod or suite.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed; all guests must have a reservation.
  • Photo/video: Electronic devices must be turned off (not on vibrate) before entering the treatment areas.
  • Specific rules to follow:
    • Guests should pat their face dry with a towel before entering.
    • All electronics must be turned off upon entry to the treatment areas.
How to prepare?
  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled appointment. Late arrivals will receive only the remaining appointment time and will be charged in full. If more than 15 minutes late for a floatation therapy session, the appointment may be cancelled.
  • Parking: Paid street parking is available using the ParkMobile app. A paid indoor parking garage is located at 1 Park View Avenue (The Vantage Apartment Building). The spa is also accessible via Light Rail (Marin Blvd Station, 1-minute walk), PATH train (Grove Street, 10-minute walk), and the NY Waterway Ferry (15-minute walk).
  • What to wear: No specific attire is required — guests float without clothing inside the private pod. Comfortable, easy-to-change clothing for before and after is recommended.
  • What to bring:
    • A personal hairbrush and/or contact lens case if needed (not provided on-site)
    • Comfortable clothing for after the session
    • Outside food and drinks are not permitted
  • Restrooms/changing rooms: Private changing takes place in the individual float room. Guests disrobe in complete privacy.

  • Two float tank options are available: The Pod (cozy, domed ceiling, full music/light control) and The Orb (extra leg room, twinkling starlights, low side wall for easier entry/exit, full music/light control).
