Full description

Spend an evening in San Diego delving into the delicious world of Empanadas, the flaky and juicy pastry pockets beloved worldwide. This cooking class offers a deep dive into the art of making Empanadas, tracing back to the 16th century when Spanish immigrants reportedly introduced the recipe to Argentina. Participants will embark on a hands-on journey to create their own Empanadas from scratch, following an authentic Argentine-style recipe that includes preparing the dough and filling it with a savory mixture of ground beef and spices.

Under the guidance of a skilled Chef Instructor, attendees will learn the intricacies of assembling their empanada disks, mastering the technique of folding and sealing the edges for the perfect finish. Additionally, the class will cover the preparation of a traditional, flavorful sauce ideal for dipping. The highlight of the evening is the opportunity to sit down and savor the Empanadas made from scratch, leaving participants equipped with the skills to recreate this special dish at home for friends and family.
