After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Any restrictions to participate?

Age: All age groups are welcome.
Health limitations: Most passengers do not experience any discomfort due to seasickness. However, if you are particularly susceptible to seasickness, you may consider using a patch or taking seasick pills as a precaution.

Who can you accommodate for?

Children: Children under 5 years old can join for free but need to be signed up at the time of reservation.
Languages: An audio tour is available in 7 languages, that will guide you through San Francisco's landmarks as you sail past them.
Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: Severe weather in this area of California is rare and cruises will proceed as scheduled in light rain and other mild weather conditions. Both boats have 360-degree, protected viewing areas! In the rare event that it is necessary to cancel a cruise, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your tickets (subject to availability).
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes in advance.
Parking: Parking available on location.
What to wear: Casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and comfortable shoes are what most people opt to wear.
What to bring: An additional layer of clothing or a jacket, especially for cooler temperatures is recommended.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are bathrooms available onboard for your convenience. However, it is recommended to use the bathroom prior to boarding.

Life jackets for both kids and adults will be provided, ensuring everyone's safety during the sail.

For an hour and a half, you'll be treated to fantastic views of Alcatraz Island, the city skyline, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, and the vast Pacific Ocean. As adventure seekers, we've added deck trampolines to our catamarans, giving you the chance to bounce and play while feeling the refreshing splash of the waves (brace yourself, you might get wet!). Families and kids are welcome on board, and the netting provides a safe yet exhilarating experience. If you prefer to relax, our protected cabin offers a comfortable spot to enjoy the panoramic views while sipping on your favorite soda, beer, or wine available for purchase at the onboard bar. Our sailing catamarans provide a stable and quiet ride, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings without the noise of engines. And don't forget to grab an audio tour, available in 7 languages, that guides you through San Francisco's landmarks as you sail past them. Throughout the journey, our captain and crew are always ready to capture a memorable photo or answer any questions you may have. Get ready to set sail and discover our passion for sailing!

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.

We had a wonderful sail under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. The captain and crew were fantastic, offering to take pictures for everyone on board and happily answering questions about the various sites. The duration of the cruise was perfect for kids, and our little ones had a blast steering the boat and assisting with raising the main sail. Jackets were readily available, and they had a great selection of drinks and snacks for purchase. We would definitely do it again on our next visit!
