Overview

Powered by 1,200 horsepower and built for anyone who thinks a standard bay cruise sounds a little too calm, RocketBoat launches from PIER 39 and tears past the sea lions, along the San Francisco waterfront, and under the Bay Bridge at full throttle for an open-air speedboat ride unlike anything else on the bay.

🚤 Board one of two high-speed RocketBoats and hold on as the bay ride takes off at full throttle

🦭 Blast past the boisterous PIER 39 sea lions at the start and end of the ride

🌉 Speed under the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge for a view unlike any other

🏙️ Race along the sweeping San Francisco waterfront with unbeatable views of the city skyline

Some people come to San Francisco Bay for the views. RocketBoat is for the people who want the wind, the speed, and the spray. Two high-speed vessels, Gold Rush and Blue Rocket, blast off from PIER 39 past the barking sea lions, out along the sweeping waterfront, and under the Bay Bridge at full throttle before looping back along the city skyline and docking back at the Blue & Gold Fleet gates. It's open-air, loud, and leaves very little room for anything other than holding on and grinning.

The boats run from April through October with departures every 30 minutes throughout the day, making it easy to slot into any San Francisco itinerary. All passengers must be at least 48 inches tall to ride, and no food, drinks, or animals are permitted on board. Everything else, including the sea lions cheering you off and the Bay Bridge overhead at speed, is included.
