When do I choose a date?

After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Daily 9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, & 5:00pm

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Must be 12 years old or older
  • Weight: 90 lbs. minimum
  • Height: Must be at least 59”
  • Group Lessons are suitable for students of beginner-intermediate levels

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included
  • Pets: This experience is not pet friendly

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours

    • Wetsuit
  • Who will be present: You will have a teacher and a group of up to 12 people with you
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: Parking available in the are
  • What to wear: Swimwear

Whether you've never set foot on a board or you're looking to fine-tune your moves, our skilled instructors are stoked to be your guides. And let's talk about Venice Beach – it's not just a beach, it's a vibe. Known globally for its eclectic and bohemian energy, this place brings a whole new level of cool to your surf session. Regardless of your experience level, from greenhorn to seasoned wave rider, surfing at Venice Beach offers a refreshing and totally one-of-a-kind experience.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
