These top-quality sea kayaks come fully equipped with all the gear and safety equipment you'll need, including GPS for safety tracking, a chart of the area, a rescue float, and more, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience on the water. After a briefing and some pointers on kayaking basics, you're set to navigate the best spots of San Juan Island. Spend six hours gliding through calm waters, enjoying the natural beauty, and possibly spotting wildlife along the coast.

The day's flexible schedule allows for start times in the morning or afternoon, and you can tailor the pickup and drop-off times to fit your plans. Just bring your sense of adventure, appropriate beach wear, and maybe a picnic to enjoy along the way.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Spectators: Not applicable, as all participants will be in the water.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The activity is subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled or canceled for safety.
• Arrival: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled rental time to handle paperwork and equipment setup.
• Parking: Parking is available at the base of operations or designated meeting points. Follow local signage for restrictions and designated areas.
• What to wear: Comfortable beach clothing suitable for getting wet, and a change of clothes for afterward.
• What to bring:
  • Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses for sun protection.
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • A packed lunch and snacks, especially if venturing out for the full duration.
  • Waterproof bags or containers for personal items.
  • Appropriate footwear for use in water, such as water shoes or old sneakers.
• Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: Facilities may be available at the launch site; otherwise, plan accordingly.

• Ensure all equipment is returned in good condition at the end of the rental period to avoid additional charges.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 30 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 30 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
