Kick off your weekend adventure at Friday Harbor, where the journey begins with a thorough kayaking tutorial ensuring everyone is prepped and confident. Evenings are spent under the stars at carefully selected marine parks, offering not just a tent over your head but a profound connection with the outdoors. What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: The tour spans two days, from 8am on Day 1 to between 1:00 and 3:00pm on Day 2.
What’s included: Includes all kayaking and camping equipment, transportation to the launch site, professional female guides, meals (breakfast and dinner), and tent accommodations.
Who will be present: You will be accompanied by professional female biologist/naturalist guides, ensuring a supportive and educational experience.
Spectators: This is a participatory experience, and spectators are not allowed.
Photo/video: Participants are encouraged to bring cameras; waterproof protection for your equipment is recommended.
Specific rules to follow: Follow all safety guidelines provided by the guides, respect wildlife regulations, and no smoking is allowed during the tour.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: The tour is held rain or shine, with activities adjusted based on weather conditions.
Arrival: Arrive at the meeting point by 8am for check-in and briefing.
Parking: Limited parking available; it is advised to park in designated areas and walk to the meeting point. Check local parking regulations and plan accordingly.
What to wear: Weather-appropriate clothing suitable for kayaking and camping. Water-resistant footwear, layers for warmth, and a waterproof jacket are recommended.
What to bring:
- Essential items such as a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses.
- Personal items should be packed in waterproof bags.
- A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: Facilities are limited to natural options and temporary setups at camp sites.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 30 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 30 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
